How could you describe your career path in few words?
I was raised in an environment which did not have the resources to foster an entrepreneurial mindset, so completing high school was considered a great success. My Father was a pastry chef at a bakery, a man who worked overnight shifts, his example motivated me to not only emulate him, but to be able to provide assistance and respite for him. My parents relocated to a village after some time, however I chose to remain in the city to pursue my goals. At the age of 16, I began living independently and secured employment in the IT sector., I was managing daily IT support requests for over 50 customers. My manager decided to not hire another IT agent, and instead rely on me to handle all requests. Although this was a stressful and challenging experience, I believe it has strengthened my career and provided me with the necessary experience.
I have been dedicatedly working a full-time job from 8am to 6pm daily, in addition to attending private courses each evening until 11pm for over two years two years.
What was your most challenging experience and it has changed your mindset?
My most challenging experience was transitioning from being a teen ager to self-independent. It required me to become more independent and manage my own schedule and workload. I had to learn how to prioritize tasks and effectively manage my time.
This experience has definitely changed my mindset; I am now more aware of the importance of time management and taking initiative to ensure I am meeting deadlines also had to learn all about communication skills which I wasn’t born with as I knew this was the only way to reaching my goals.
Based on your experiences, what skills should an entrepreneur develop in 2023
In 2023, entrepreneurs should develop a broad range of skills in order to be successful. These skills include strategic vision, problem-solving, financial management, marketing, communication, and leadership. Strategic vision allows entrepreneurs to plan for the future and make decisions that will best suit their business.
Problem-solving skills help entrepreneurs to identify and resolve issues that arise. Financial management skills allow entrepreneurs to manage their budgets and make sound financial decisions. It is very important to be able to run your business during crises and be wise about your investments and expenses.Marketing skills enable entrepreneurs to reach their target audience and create an effective brand presence. Communication skills enable entrepreneurs to effectively interact with customers, partners, and employees. Finally, leadership skills allow entrepreneurs to lead their team and inspire them to reach their goals. By developing these skills, entrepreneurs will be well-equipped to succeed in 2023.
Based on your recent experiences, if you had one piece of advice for an entrepreneur's success in the context of 2023, what would it be?
My advice for entrepreneurs in 2023 would be to focus on leveraging technology to create innovative solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth. Developing a comprehensive digital strategy and investing in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation will be essential for success. Additionally, entrepreneurs should strive to stay ahead of the curve by staying informed about industry trends and experimenting with new ideas and technologies. The world of business is constantly changing and evolving, and the most successful entrepreneurs are those who are able to adapt and pivot quickly. By staying ahead of the curve and being open to new ideas and technologies, entrepreneurs can stay ahead of the competition and capitalize on new opportunities.
